Homepage Profile

The Homepage Profile is used to configure users' homepages. It allows you to select views for real-time data within all applications and show parts of the platform according to the users' roles.

Creating a Homepage Profile and Select its Contents

  1. Log into Reliance and open the Administration Center application.
  2. Select New Document > Homepage Profile from the Administration Center toolbar.
  3. A new Homepage Profile is created.
  4. In the Name field, enter a name for the Homepage Profile (e.g., Managers Homepage).
  5. If Locations are used, then in the Location Security field, select the Location(s) to which this Homepage is related. In this case, only location administrators of the specified locations can edit this Homepage Profile.
  6. Select at least one of the following options in the Display the following widgets (at least one selection is required) field:

Delegations: When selected, the Delegations widget will be displayed on the Homepage; otherwise, it will remain hidden.

Assignments: When selected, the Assignments widget will be displayed on the Homepage; otherwise, it will remain hidden.

Set the following options for the Assignments widget in the Homepage Profile.

Include assignments from the following applications (Required)

The user can select the applications from which assignments appear in the Assignments widget.

Forms to hide from My Assignments

The user can select specific forms of the selected applications to hide their assignments from the Homepage.

Favorite Charts: When selected, the My Charts tab will be displayed on the Homepage; otherwise, it will remain hidden.

Configure each chart you want to show in the My Charts tab in the displayed Favorite Charts subform. To do so, follow the steps below:

Add a new record to the Favorite Charts subform.

Select a pre-defined Chart Template from the Select and Sort Favorite Charts field.

Set the chart's display format in the Display Format field. Select Chart Only, Report Only, or Chart and Report.

Select the Show one chart per row option if you want this chart to be displayed in one row within the My Charts tab on the homepage.

Trainings: When selected, the Trainings widget will be displayed on the Homepage; otherwise, it will remain hidden. This widget displays the training assignments of the logged-in user.

Signature with solid fillThe Date Range widget will be hidden on the Homepage if neither the Trainings nor Assignments option is selected.

  1. Add External Links' URLs from the External Links section using Paste Link or Add Link actions. The External Links added in this field will be displayed under the Favorites > External Links sub-menu of the system main header.
  2. Apply and Close the Homepage Profile.

Saved homepage profiles are listed under the Homepage Profiles view and categorized by Name and by Applies To.

Applying a Homepage Profile to Users/Groups

  1. Find the Homepage Profile under the Homepage Profiles > by Name view, then open it.
  2. From the Applies To field, select the groups/users for whom this Homepage will be enabled.
  3. Apply and Close the Homepage Profile.

The Homepage option is displayed in the Reliance menu.

If a user has more than one Homepage Profile applied, a list will be shown next to the Homepage Name in the title bar. The user can choose their preferred (Default) Homepage from the displayed list. The default homepage will open every time the user logs in until they choose a different homepage from the field.

Applying a Homepage Profile to users without Homepage

You can set a Homepage Profile for users who have not got one applied to them. You can do this by selecting the option Apply to users without Homepage in the wanted Homepage Profile.

If the Apply to users without Homepage option is enabled in more than one Homepage Profile, users with no assigned Homepage Profile will be able to switch between these homepages. The Homepage Profiles with the Apply to users without Homepage option enabled are not applicable to users who are assigned certain Homepage Profiles.

All homepages do not apply to an Anonymous user.
